Overview
Job Description
Responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):
- Interact with suppliers and maintain inventory of critical supplies.
- Keep laboratory space clean and organized.
- Maintain critical equipment and schedule preventive maintenance.
- Develop, qualify, and transfer release analytical test methods to client or QC laboratory.
- Draft development reports and product specific STM’s.
- Analyze, summarize, and present data.
- Troubleshoot issues that may occur within testing methods.
- Assist group lead in Formulation Development and in-process testing.
- Execute analytical methods including:
- HPLC (Protein Titer, Size-Exclusion, Reverse Phase)
- Experience in ELISA-based impurity assays
- Experience in Cell based Bioassays a plus.
- Protein Concentration by OD280
- Buffer/Solution Preparation
- Notebook and ELN documentation
Critical Skills for this position:
- Proficiency with HPLC/UPLC instruments
- Proficiency with ELISA methodology
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Documentation and written communication
- Willing to learn and able to listen.
- Infrequent Lifting: up to 25lbs
Requirements:
- BS in Chemistry, Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, or related subject matter.
- 2-4 years of work experience.
