Job Title:Office Assistant/Shipping and Receiving
Description: Maintains daily office operations by preparing training materials, preparing and packaging orders to be shipped, receiving and distributing communications; answering phones, assisting with inventory; serving customers, and performing daily administrative tasks.
Reports to: President, The Wellbriety Store
Type of Position: full time (40 hours per week) non-exempt
Job Duties:
· Serves customers by answering phone calls, answering questions, forwarding messages, and providing accurate information of upcoming events
· Assists with monitoring inventory levels, stocking inventory, and communicating with supervisor about supplies needed
· Preparing, packaging, and shipping training materials in advance
· Assists with preparing, packaging and shipping orders for online store
- Assists with data entry and evaluation summary paperwork after trainings take place
· Organization of files and keeping the files organized on the computer
· Mailing – UPS, FedEx & Stamps.com programs
· Other duties as assigned
Required Skills/Qualifications:
· Must be able to efficiently operate a computer, printer and other office equipment
· Must be able to work with a multi-line phone, answer phone calls and take messages
· Must be proficient in Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
· Must have efficient typing skills (35 WPM or better)
· Must know how to use the internet for research and other duties
· Must be highly organized
· Must be able to work independently, but also be able to take instructions
· Must be able to plan ahead and meet deadlines
· Must be flexible with time management and be able to multi-task
· Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills
· High attention to detail is a must
· Must have excellent telephone and customer service skills
· Must be able to consistently lift up to 40 pounds
· Familiarity in the addiction recovery field, particularly in Native American communities a plus
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $19.00 per hour
