Rocky Mountain Truck & Trailer is a growing, family run business. We repair and maintain semi-trucks and trailers. We are looking for an Office Assistant to maintain office organization, and perform data entry in QuickBooks and Excel spreadsheets. This position is in person, part time 20-24 hours per week, and located in NE Fort Collins.
Job Description:
- Record checks in the check register using QuickBooks.
- Apply customer’s payments using QuickBooks.
- Enter weekly time sheets into QuickBooks.
- Accurately maintain spreadsheets using Excel.
- Perform a variety of administration, coordination, and office support tasks.
- Maintain the organization of receipts, invoices, and other paperwork.
- Communicate with customers and vendors in a friendly and efficient manner.
- Process outgoing Amazon orders.
Qualifications:
- High school graduate (or GED). Plus 1-2 years’ office experience.
- QuickBooks experience is a big plus. Training will be available.
- Proficient using MS Office.
- Experience in simple formulas in Excel a plus.
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and accuracy.
- Ability and willingness to learn quickly and work independently.
Physical Demands:
- This position is required to be on-site.
- The office is located inside a repair shop, so the environment can be dirty. Jeans or casual dress is recommended.
- The noise level in the shop is moderate to loud.
- Requires prolonged sitting, some bending, stooping, stretching.
- May require occasional lifting of up to 20 pounds.
