JOB SUMMARY:

• Serves as a receptionist/registration clerk in the Outpatient Services Department.
• Provides secretarial assistance for Cardiology, Cath Lab and Diagnostic Imaging Services, and Wound Center(s).

QUALIFICATIONS:

EXPECTED BEHAVIORS:

• Greets and registers each patient upon arrival to the department. Registration process thorough and complete with less than 1 denial rate.
• Distributes reports within 24 hours of exam.
• Updates policies and procedures every three years with a completion rate of 95.
• Seeks educational opportunities to improve knowledge/skill.
• Participates in identifying or recommending areas for improvement.
• Completes work in an efficient, timely manner that is conducive to team work and cost containment.
