Valley Health Systems, Inc., the parent company of Holyoke Medical Center and Holyoke Medical Group, provides a broad range of physician services in offices conveniently located throughout Western Massachusetts.
Our Physician Practices are seeking an experienced Office Assistant to float between the various offices. The individual hired into this position will coordinate and carry out all administrative functions for the offices, including but not limited to providing administrative support to physicians/providers, greeting patients, checking for updated demographic and insurance information, at check-out collecting encounter form, co-pays and any additional appropriate fees, scheduling follow-up appointments and accurately entering outpatient orders into the Medical Center's Order Entry System.
REQUIREMENTS: High School Graduate; Bilingual in English/Spanish preferred; experience working with third party payers and working knowledge of ICD-10 and HCPC coding; two years experience in a physician's office or similar environment
