Office Assistant

This is a full-time entry-level position in the Administration Area at the Township.

This full time (35 hour per week) position offers benefits including health, dental, vision, life insurance, IMRF pension system and the opportunity to participate in 457(b) plan. Work schedule is Monday through Friday 8:30 am to 4:00 pm. The ideal candidate will enjoy helping the public as well as maintaining an efficient office environment.

This person would perform various functions such as registering voters, selling yard waste stickers, yard waste stickers, handicapped placards, etc. as needed. This position also provides support to the Township Administrator.

This position requires interacting with the public. A high degree of professionalism and customer service skills are required for this position. Candidates must possess exceptional organizational skills. The ability to speak and write fluent English is mandatory. The ability to speak Spanish is a plus. Candidate must possess advanced skills in Microsoft Office Word and Excel.

Candidate must be at least 18 years of age and legally eligible for employment in the United States.
