Office Administrator/Food Safety Officer

Grower, packer, and shipper of fresh apples is looking for an Office Administrator/ Food Safety Officer. Qualifications include experience in administering Food Safety policies and certification in HACCP and/or Preventative Controls (PCQI). In the absence of certification, the individual must be willing to complete while employed. Candidate must have good computer and office skills. Position is full time. Salary and benefits will be determined based on experience.

Duties include, but not limited to:

· Creation of Sales Orders, updating inventory, completing pack out reports, answering phones, ordering supplies, as well as other office duties as assigned to assist with the daily work load.

· Monitoring and record keeping of Food Safety procedures

· Supervising plant sanitation procedures

· Conducting microbial and other testing of packing areas

· Identifying and correcting non-conforming test results

· Updating and monitoring Food Safety policies

· Preparing for Food Safety audits

• Associate (Preferred)

Experience:

• Bookkeeping: 1 year (Preferred)
