Our services are in the areas of strategy, finance and accounting, IT & telecommunications, HR and benefits, administration and operations.
Position Overview:
This is a position where the candidate is expected to work from our Kearny office location. We expect employees to travel to participate in team meetings on an average of once a year, in our Newark or Central New Jersey office. The position reports to the VP of IT Services.
Key Responsibilities:
Shipping and Receiving:
- Receive, inspect, and accurately record incoming shipments
- Prepare outgoing shipments, ensuring proper packaging and labeling
- Coordinate with carriers and logistics providers for timely deliveries and pick-ups
- Maintain accurate inventory records of equipment and assist with periodic inventory counts
- Work with the tech team to plug in and turn on new PC's for remote setup
Documentation:
- Prepare shipping and receiving documentation
- Verify the accuracy of shipping documents and resolve discrepancies as needed
- Maintain digital records of shipments and receipts
Office Administration:
- Provide general administrative support, including answering phones, responding to emails, and managing office supplies
- Assist with data entry, filing, and document organization
- Call vendors for availability with office projects
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure efficient workflow and communication
- Organize and maintain office environment
- Schedule and coordinate appointments and meetings for office
- Coordinate with cleaning service to ensure they abide by the cleaning schedule
Purchasing:
- Work with customers and vendors in purchasing new equipment
- Purchase necessary equipment needs for our office, including boxes, packing, food, and drinks
Customer Service:
- Serve as a point of contact for customer inquiries related to shipments and purchasing
- Address customer concerns and issues promptly and professionally
- Ensure a positive customer experience throughout the shipping and receiving process
Billing:
- Work with the accounting department on all outgoing bills for either Projects or PC setups
- Send quotes to clients in a timely manner before project work begins
- Work with AT&T on phone ordering and bill cleanup
Schedule:
Monday-Friday
9:30am-5:30pm or 10am-6pm
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
