Job description

Office Administrator Duties for Roofing and New Construction Company:

  • Answering phones and communicating with answering service
  • Greeting guests and handling company inquiries
  • Accounts receivable assistance and maintaining customer files
  • Assist in the collection process
  • Data entry (CRM program, Microsoft Office 365, Quickbooks)
  • Performs clerical duties, including, but not limited to, mailing and filing correspondence, emailing, and answering calls
  • Interacts with clients, visitors, insurance and mortgage companies and vendors
  • Photocopies, scans, and files appropriate documents
  • Maintains accurate records and enters data
  • Assists with organizing events when necessary
  • Conducts research and compiles data
  • Interacts with owners when necessary
  • Assists in setting up new client accounts on CRM softwares, and more
  • Covers reception
  • Maintains stock of supples by anticipating work requirements, ordering supplies, and distributing supplies where necessary
  • Answers customer questions and confirms customer orders
  • Engages in educational opportunities as needed
  • Performs additional duties when required, including drafting brochures and organizing the filing system

Office Administrator Skills and Qualifications

  • Must Posses Excellent Communication Skills, Both Written and Verbal
  • Must Posses Basic Knowledge of Microsoft Software Applications Such As Excel and Word
  • Highly Motivated and Ability to Prioritize Efficiently
  • Previous experience in a related field preferred
  • Self-Driven
  • Excellent Customer Care Skills
  • Ability to Maintain a Strict Level of Confidence
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Programs
  • Attention to Detail
  • Professional Appearance
  • Strong Problem-Solving Skills
  • Excellent Organizational Skills
  • Ability to Work Alone or Part of a Team
  • Knowledge of Basic Office Management Procedures
  • Quickbooks Experience Preferred
