Job Title: Industrial Facility Technician (Specializing in TIG Welding and Fabrication)

Location: Vineland, New Jersey

Shifts: 1st shift 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM (Sunday-Thursday)

Length: 4+ Month Contract to Hire

Job Summary:

InterAction24 is seeking a highly skilled Industrial Facility Technician with specialized experience in TIG welding and metal fabrication for industrial manufacturing machinery. Join our team in a dynamic food production environment in Vineland, New Jersey, where you will play a crucial role in maintaining, repairing, and improving our food production lines and facility equipment. Key Responsibilities:

• Prioritize tasks assigned by the Maintenance Planner Manager, with a particular focus on welding, fabricating for industrial machinery, and addressing production line needs.
• Fabricate and repair parts for industrial machines using TIG welding techniques, ensuring high-quality standards suitable for food production environments.
• Apply your skills in carpentry, plumbing, HVAC, electrical, and mechanical maintenance to support the overall facility.
• Conduct regular inspections to identify maintenance needs and potential safety hazards, with a special focus on machinery and production line equipment.
• Maintain detailed records of repairs, maintenance tasks, and fabrications, contributing to efficient operations and safety compliance.
• Collaborate with production teams to minimize downtime and support continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; Technical or trade school certification in welding, fabrication, or related fields highly preferred.
• Proven experience as an Industrial Facility Technician, with specific skills in TIG welding and metal fabrication for machinery in an industrial or manufacturing setting.
• In-depth knowledge of industrial machinery, especially in food production lines, and understanding of electrical and plumbing systems.
• Demonstrated ability to use a variety of hand and power tools, with a strong focus on precision and safety.
• Basic computer skills for effective record-keeping and communication within a team.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting abilities.
• Excellent attention to detail, with a strong commitment to safety and quality in a food production environment.

Physical Requirements:

• Capable of lifting heavy objects and working under physically demanding conditions.
• Openness to work in various environmental conditions and comfort working at heights and in confined spaces when required.
