Job Summary:
The Nursing Administrative Assistant will support the Nursing Department with a high volume of paperwork. This position is responsible for directing, coordinating, and managing all clients referred to by the company for equipment care. The Nursing Administrative Assistant is responsible for ensuring all client orders are distributed to the appropriate individual for action.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Coordinates calls to the appropriate individuals.
- Maintain filing and storage systems in the office
- Retrieve documents and files when requested.
- Establish and maintain client records.
- Read and route incoming mail and process outgoing mail.
- Maintains client data in an efficient manner, provides reports when needed.
- Create, edit, and update spreadsheets.
- Performs related responsibilities as required or directed.
- Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
Physical Demands:
Required to stand, walk, sit, talk, and hear; required to use hands to operate vehicles and office equipment; must be able to occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 lbs; specific vision requirements for this job include: close, distance and peripheral vision, and the ability to adjust focus, reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of this position without compromising patient care.
