Noc Manager

We are seeking a NOC Manager to become an integral part of our team! You will be responsible for managing and maintaining internal and remote computer systems.

Responsibilities:

• Implement local area networks (LAN), wide area networks (WAN), intranets, extranets, and other data networks
• Develop and execute test plans to check infrastructure and system performance
• Enforce policies for standardizing systems
• Train NOC personnel on stand policy and procedures
• Verify and follow-up with customer related issues
• Answer incoming calls in a pleasant and helpful manner
• Document incidents by creating ticket with complete information following SLA guidelines
• Troubleshoot, analyze and research to resolve repeating issues and complex problems documenting findings and developing procedures to prevent future issues
• Monitor alarm activities
• Recruit, lead, mentor, train and support NOC personnel

Duties:

• Manage day-to-day activity of NOC employees to ensure proper service delivery This include dynamic assignment of tickets and follow-up on completion
• Coach and mentor all subordinates on the execution of processes and procedures. Develop a training and certification program for NOC personnel.
• Ensure accurate time keeping of employees.
• Responsible for employees’ development, including evaluations, hiring, and salary recommendations.
• Provide oversight of all outage recovery efforts.
• Manage personnel to ensure trouble tickets are accurate, provide reports, and ensure proper escalation occurs.
• Act as an escalation point for critical recovery decisions.
• Ensure proper reporting, classifications, and documentation is available at all levels to have continued progression to problem resolution

Requirements

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in networking, IT, or other related fields
• Excellent customer service skills
• Familiarity with network architectural specifications
• Strong troubleshooting and critical thinking skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Routing and switching experience
• Self-Motivated
