Veritas Press is a Christian organization dedicated to providing the best classical Christian education materials and services anywhere. This role of National Communities Director is dedicated to fostering the growth, execution, and upkeep of regional and local in-person communities—specifically for parents and students of Veritas Scholars Academy and their families. The director will play a crucial role in establishing, organizing, and nurturing dynamic geographically connected communities of Veritas families. The focus is on enhancing the Veritas experience through activities including groups, local meet-ups, and a range of extracurricular activities.
Some Responsibilities:
- Establish and build Veritas communities and local directors
- Travel to EOYG and occasional key locations for community visits and coordination.
- Effectively use technology to facilitate communication and engagement within local communities.
- Effectively manage budget to enable communities to ultimately operate financially independent of Veritas Press.
- Coordinate communication through platforms like the schools LMS, SIS, social media, etc..
- Uphold Veritas Press's statement of faith, ensuring alignment with Veritas values and mission.
- Address challenges or conflicts using biblical principles (Matt. 18) in collaboration with the VP of Marketing and the VSA Headmaster, or their designees, fostering a positive community environment.
- Create and maintain an environment to increase word-of-mouth referrals and student retention.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Proven experience in the development and oversight of social communities, preferably in an educational or online or hybrid setting
- Exceptional written and oral communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational and project management experience
- Ability to work independently, and as part of a team
- Knowledge of online community platforms and tools
- Strong enthusiasm for fostering a sense of community among students
- Conversant with and supportive of the reformed faith and classical Christian education according to the VSA Statement of Faith and Philosophy
- Understanding of VSA curriculum and services preferred
- Able to work diligently without direct supervision
- Experience with Word, Excel, Google Product Suite, Gmail, general computer skills
- Workload efficiency and multitasking capabilities

Education:
- High school diploma required.
- Bachelor's degree is preferred.
