Devereux/TCV Community Services is Immediately Hiring for a Director of our Adult Residential Treatment and Partial HospitalizationServices Programs!

Position Type: Full-time, Exempt. Hours are Monday through Friday. This position requires a flexible schedule determined by program needs. Due to the nature of the program, Director is available 24/7 to ensure clinical guidance for residential services.

What to Expect: Devereux/TCV is currently seeking a dedicated and responsible person to fill our Director of Adult Residential Treatmentand Partial Services position in Homestead, PA.

We are looking for a person who believes in a strengths-based approach and who will plan and monitor the best practice mental health treatment services delivery for our mental health residential/supportive housing, diversion and acute stabilization and Partial Hospitalization Services. The Director of Mental Health Residential and Partial services position is designed to:

  • Provide administrative management of MH Residential Services, Diversion & Acute Stabilization and Partial Hospitalization utilizing expert knowledge of regulations, contracts and staff and resource management skills.
  • Develop annual budgets with program objectives meeting all targets.
  • Monitor program expenses and revenues monthly to ensure less than a 10% variance.
  • Display initiative in seeking out means and methods of program expansion and diversity, including the exploration of alternative funding sources.
  • Identify staff development needs and develops an annual staff in-services and trainings to include best practice models.
  • Use data to determine program efficiency, need for expansion/reduction and resource needs.
  • Provide technical assistance, guidance, leadership, coaching and supervision for all program managers.
  • Ensure licensure of all clinical services and programs.
  • Participate in Executive Staff meetings, Compliance, QA/QI and other management meetings within TCV as well as committees and pertinent work groups for county/CCBH.
  • Meet with direct reports as needed for individual supervision to assist them in meeting their stated goals, and complete documentation of same.
  • Complete annual evaluations for direct reports within one month of anniversary dates.

*Prospective employee hired for this position will receive a $10,000 sign on bonus. The employee will receive the first third of the bonus after the successful completion of three (3) months of employment, the second third of the bonus will be awarded after the successful completion of six (6) months of employment, and the final third will be awarded after achieving a "satisfactory" rating or higher on the annual performance evaluation.

  • Master’s Degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology or a related discipline, and six (6) years of experience, including two (2) years as a manager/program director, in a mental health residential setting.
  • Pennsylvania license (LPC, LCSW, MFT, etc.) preferred.
  • Act 33/34, Child Abuse, and FBI Clearances required.
  • Requires extensive knowledge of behavioral health field in Allegheny County.
  • Pre-hire physical, drug screening and one-step TB.
