5+ Years’ Experience $83,500-$105,000
This position is located at our Fort Worth, Texas corporate office and has the potential to be a hybrid position with up to 50% remote work.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Manage people leader engagement program, including internal Leader Resources website, regular e-newsletter, other related news/announcements and more, to strengthen alignment, Engagement and help our people leaders succeed.
- Manage internal communication for Fort Worth Headquarters, including internal Fort Worth Campus website, regular e-newsletter and other related news/announcements.
- Serve as team lead for myBNSF (BNSF Intranet), managing the tech, content and people; relationship with vendor and BNSF Technology Services; ensuring adherence to myBNSF governance, and supporting myBNSF-related requests.
- Lead internal engagement/feedback initiatives, including AskBNSF, employee surveys and other similar platforms and programs.
- Create, edit and support general internal communication with timely, relevant and engaging content for both general and major department audiences, as assigned.
- As a member of the Internal Communication and Engagement team, provide general support for Employee Engagement and recognition programs, as assigned.
- Backup/cross training: Employee recognition, content publication and distribution
Professional Knowledge and Skills
- Professional corporate experience in internal communication and Employee Engagement, tactics and tools, with experience at BNSF preferred.
- Skilled storyteller with strong writing skills, and experience in both traditional and digital communication, including photography and videography.
- Technically savvy, and ability to quickly learn and support digital communication platforms and troubleshoot/address technical challenges.
- Ability to lead, manage and measure results of project management. Ability to access, sort and analyze data in spreadsheets or other data software programs.
- BNSF field supervisory or related operations experience strongly preferred.
- Able to successfully juggle several simultaneous tasks and requests from leaders while meeting deadlines and expectations.
- Communicates ideas in a clear, concise manner, verbally and in writing.
- Strong creative skills.

Education/Work Experience
- Four-year college degree in a business related discipline required, with a degree in communication, journalism or marketing preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of Communications experience required, or equivalent BNSF experience.
