Key Accountabilities:

 Employee Engagement

  • Coordinate projects to enhance employee work experience and impact across the division.
  • Foster a work culture that reinforces the company's mission and core values.
  • Develop and implement employee Engagement Programs and initiatives to maximize employee engagement.
  • Champion organization priorities surrounding Employee Engagement Initiatives and Programming.
  • Lead Employee Engagement and Inclusion Committee.  
  • Cultivates a partnering relationship with all department management and directors.  Engages proactively and productively in business decisions.  Provides input and advises management.
  • Conducts employee focus group sessions, employee surveys, and interviews to obtain employee feedback. Identifies employee concerns and monitors overall employee satisfaction. Partners with leadership and employees to develop and implement action plans.
  • Leverage internal communication vehicles to ensure employee awareness, understanding, and participation in programs.
  • Implement internal communications tools to enable process improvement related to increasing engagement and building an inclusive, supportive workplace
  • Conduct employee engagement surveys; analyze and distribute results.
  • Assist with events and projects associated with organizational culture development.
  • Develop and distribute post-event publicity and reports.
  • Manage Employee Recognition Programs (i.e. employee of the month).
  • Coordinate employee appreciation activities.
  • Partner with the client organizing various Engagement Programs.
  • Other duties as required.

Community Engagement

  • Liaison with community leaders in the Austin, TX, region to ensure Keolis is adequately involved in relevant and impactful community events.
  • Be willing to join and participate in local community organizations to include Chamber of Commerce to ensure Keolis is constantly dialed into the immediate needs of the community.
  • Build the Keolis brand in the Austin community.
  • Coordinate Community Engagement events year-round.
  • Vet organizations to ensure they are reputable and non-controversial to the Keolis brand or our Client.
  • Liaison with the Client, Keolis corporate, and other Keolis locations to develop employee and Community Engagement strategies.
  • Communicate effectively with clarity, credibility, and timeliness.

Knowledge and Experience:

  • 3+ years recent experience managing Employee and Community Engagement programs .
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
  • Experience with digital communications technology 
  • Commitment to delivering a high level of customer service.

Skills:

  • Strong understanding of employee engagement and communications programs and strategies.
  • Ability to think globally, strategically, and objectively and experience developing and implementing large scale projects and change initiatives.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to develop client communication strategies to foster a positive client relationship.
  • Ability to develop strong trusting relationships with team members.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
