Minimum Qualifications
One year of experience as a Medical Scheduler and Biller
Desired Qualifications
One year of experience as a Medical Biller with experience in obtaining Authorizations within an ABA Clinic. Ability to reconcile Explanation of Benefits (EOB). Familiarity with BCN, BCBS, Aetna, Priority Health, and Beacon.
Position Purpose
To assist the office manager in the daily billing of ABA services to private insurances. Update staff and client schedules daily as needed.
Job Duties
Under the supervision of the Office Manager, assist in daily billing, checking in/out clients on electronic medical record databases, and ensure proper authorization are continually in place. Some reconciliation of explanation of benefits (EOB). Maintain attendance for both clients and staff. Additionally, the employee will monitor the daily schedule to obtain coverage for sessions and lunch. Employees will maintain HIPAA and confidentiality. Subject to annual background check. Occasional evening and weekend hours.
