JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Answers the incoming calls and routes them to the appropriate resource. Schedule and confirm appointments for multiple physicians and locations.· Greets patients and visitors in a prompt, courteous, and helpful manner
- Coordinates the scheduling of patient visits via the office EMR system, Register new patients and update necessary records
- Obtains and verifies eligibility and insurance coverage(s), including referrals if required
- Collects copay and patient balances at time of check in
- Develops and maintains physician patient schedule
- Answer phone calls in a professional and courteous manner
- Assists callers and patients with their requests (excellent follow through)
- Schedules appointments between doctors and patients when needed
- Maintains work area and lobby and observes patient flow; being aware of delays, and communicating with patients and clinical staff
- Perform other clerical receptionist duties such as data entry, scanning, distributing correspondence to the correct department/chart, faxing
- Respond to emails that arrive using our general office email address
- Participates in educational activities
- Represents Clinic in a professional manner. Treats all patients, internal and external in a courteous and cooperative manner.
- Performs other duties as assigned by the Office Administrator

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $14.00 - $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
