Medical Receptionist

Responsibilities

• Answer multiphone lines / schedule patient appointments
• Enter and/or update patient registration and information in medical management software
• Greet patients and facilitate patient questions to appropriate staff
• ENT Specialist
• Must be ontime and dependable
• Must have insurance plan knowledge (the difference between commercial, Medicare cards as example)

Skills

• Proven working experience as a medical receptionist
• Knowledge of medical office management systems and procedures
• Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work
• Social perceptiveness and service oriented
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong organisational, planning skills and typing skills
• Proficiency in MS Office and patient management software
• EThomas EMR a plus but will train
• Pay, benefits and hours are all negotiable
• Need to hire and start ASAP

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• No weekends

Education:

• High school or equivalent (Preferred)

Experience:

• Vital signs: 1 year (Preferred)
• EMR systems: 1 year (Required)
