Front desk receptionist will be responsible for peforming all functions necessary to maintain the efficient workflow of all front desk receptionist duties.
Essesential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Greet all patients as they arrive in a friendly, courteous, and professional manner
- Demonstrate and maintain a working knowledge of customer service principles, and departmental expectations regarding customer service
- Routinely check and respond to work e-mail
- Document in the computer system all necessary demographic, insurance, and financial information
- Maintain patient charts; including creating new files, scanning files into the computer system, filing, shifting, and breaking down charts
- Perform clerical duties, including mail delivery, faxing, copying, and scanning
- Responsible for answering, screening, and directing incoming phone calls
- Collect applicable financial payments
- Schedules Follow-up appointments
- Helping patients complete their online forms and demographics-
- Maintaining a clean and organized lobby
- Handling multiple phone lines
- Multi-tasking capabilities and detail oriented
- Experience with utilizing basic computer software required
- Willingness to consistently provide concierge level customer service required
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Flexibility in scheduling to ensure front desk coverage needed and dependable
- Perform other duties as assigned
