Medical Receptionist

Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and organized Medical Receptionist to join our team. As a Medical Receptionist, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to patients and visitors. The successful candidate will be responsible for greeting patients, scheduling appointments, answering phones, and providing administrative support. Responsibilities:

• Greet patients and visitors in a professional manner.
• Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries in a timely manner.
• Schedule appointments and maintain patient records.
• Provide information to patients about plastic surgery procedures.
• Collect payments from patients and verify insurance.
• Verify patient insurance coverage.
• Maintain a clean and organized reception area and provide a comfortable environment for patients.
• Coordinate referrals from other healthcare providers as directed by physicians.
• Collaborate with medical staff to ensure efficient patient flow and resolve any issues or concerns.

Experience:
- Proven experience as a Medical Receptionist or in a similar administrative role within a medical office setting
- Familiarity with medical terminology and procedures
- Proficient in using phone systems and electronic medical record (EMR) software
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally with patients, staff, and visitors
- Attention to detail and accuracy in maintaining patient records
