Responsibilities:
- Greet patients and visitors in a professional manner.
- Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries in a timely manner.
- Schedule appointments and maintain patient records.
- Provide information to patients about plastic surgery procedures.
- Collect payments from patients and verify insurance.
- Verify patient insurance coverage.
- Maintain a clean and organized reception area and provide a comfortable environment for patients.
- Coordinate referrals from other healthcare providers as directed by physicians.
- Collaborate with medical staff to ensure efficient patient flow and resolve any issues or concerns.
Experience:
- Proven experience as a Medical Receptionist or in a similar administrative role within a medical office setting
- Familiarity with medical terminology and procedures
- Proficient in using phone systems and electronic medical record (EMR) software
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally with patients, staff, and visitors
- Attention to detail and accuracy in maintaining patient records
