Medical Receptionist/Front Desk

Small, busy dermatology practice seeking self-motivated, professional, and friendly receptionist with healthcare experience.

Job Type :

Tuesday and Thursday in Jackson with travel reimbursement

Monday, Wednesday, and/or Friday in Germantown

Required education:

· High school or equivalent

Required experience:

· Medical receptionist: 1 year+

· EMR: 1 year+

Duties

· Answering the phone and scheduling appointments efficiently

· Verifying insurance eligibility and eligibility/benefits inquiries

· Collecting applicable payments at check-in and check-out

· Handling and directing patient inquires to appropriate staff

· Obtaining medical records

· Referrals and Authorizations experience required

· Must be able to pass drug screening

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $16.00 per hour

Expected hours: 32 – 40 per week
