DeLoach Therapy Services is a small outpatient pediatric physical and occupational therapy clinic in Lafayette, LA. Our goal is to provide a team approach to treating children with various developmental disorders or difficulties in a fun-playful environment to help children be the best they can be.
Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome patients and visitors in a friendly and professional manner
- Answer phone calls, schedule appointments, and manage patient inquiries
- Maintain patient records and ensure accuracy of medical information
- Perform medical insurance verification, billing and denials
-Accounts receivable
- Managing schedule for therapists
- Manage patient flow and ensure timely check-in and check-out
- Provide administrative support to medical staff as needed.
Skills:
- Experience working in a dental or medical office setting is a must.
- Proficiency in using dental or medical office software systems (e.g., Eaglesoft, Dentrix, Epic)
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to multitask, work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of medical scheduling and administrative support processes
-At least 1 year experience with insurance billing and medical office experience is a must.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
Expected hours: No more than 40 per week
