Responsibilities:
- Greet and check-in patients, ensuring a positive and welcoming experience
- Schedule and confirm patient appointments using medical scheduling software
- Collect and update patient demographic and insurance information
- Maintain patient records, including medical history, test results, and treatment plans
- Verify insurance coverage and take copays/deductible's
- Process referrals and faxes
- Answer phone calls and respond to patient inquiries in a professional manner
- Assist with medical administrative support tasks as needed
Skills:
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on patient service
- Knowledge of medical office procedures and terminology
- Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Knowledge of Google Docs and Google Drive
- 3 Plus years experience working in an medical office setting
