Arcadis is seeking a Business Analyst Specialist for a Hybrid role for our team in New York.

Role description:
As a Business Analyst you will develop and support proactive efforts related to program and project controls, including but not limited to large data reporting, scheduling, cost, and risk management, using tools that provide visibility controls.
Role accountabilities:
  • Develop and monitor project performance metrics, reports and collaboration sites to assist with project/program schedule monitoring and status communication updates to project/program management teams.
  • Work with multiple Project Managers and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams
  • Utilize project schedules in Primavera P6 or similar scheduling software and leverage their data in reporting.
  • Perform Cost control duties could include monitoring, analyzing, forecasting, reporting on cost expenditures, trends.
  • Analyze and use data to identify key project issues, project variances from approved plan.
  • Generate progress trend and forecast using statistics or pattern finding techniques.
  • Works hands on with earned value monitoring.
  • Conducts or assists in performance measurement and associated cost trending.
  • Prepares and assists in various levels of project reporting.
  • Assists in procedure development and implementation of project control practices and procedures.
  • Actively participate and spearhead project controls related topics at project coordination meetings

Qualifications & Experience:
  • Bachelor of Science Degree in an engineering, construction management, or business administration discipline or a Project Management Professional certification along with a technical degree.
  • Possess 4-7 years' experience in planning, scheduling, monitoring, and project controls.
  • Understanding of capital planning and assessment, cost-benefit analysis, what-if scenarios, risk management protocols, and accounting principles.
  • Working knowledge in Microsoft 365 applications such as SharePoint Online, Excel, power 5-Automate, Forms, and Teams
  • Working knowledge of Primavera P6 software, with Planning, Tracking and Monitoring of Project Scope, Resource and Cost.
  • Expert Excel modeling skills, including macro development, look-up tables, complex formulas, and pivot tables.

Arcadis offers benefits for full time and part time positions. These benefits include medical, dental, and vision, EAP, 401K, STD, LTD, AD&D, life insurance, paid parental leave, reward & recognition program and optional benefits including wellbeing benefits, adoption assistance and tuition reimbursement. We offer nine paid holidays and 15 days PTO that accrue per year. The salary range for this position is $72,000- $104,000.
