Medical Office Receptionist

Azorna Hospice and Palliative Care is looking for a front desk receptionist for our Mesa office. This individual will be the first point of contact for many of our clients and associates. JOB SUMMARY:

Under the general supervision of management, the Front Office Receptionist acts as the face of Azorna. The receptionist will be the first to interact with clients, staff and associates both on the phone and in person. The receptionist will maintain the office, and ensure a great first impression. The Front Office Receptionist will perform administrative duties related to office needs (phones, copies, fax, etc.) The receptionist will also help with any other office tasks as assigned by management.

QUALIFICATIONS and EXPERIENCE:

• Prior experience in a front office or reception role a must.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Warm, approachable, and non-judgmental demeanor coupled with a genuine passion for assisting others – a true people-person.
• Exceptional hospitality talents, professional, adept at empathizing with others and ensuring a pleasant encounter.

Essential Functions:

• Answer phones and greet walk-ins
• Respond to field staff requests for medical records
• Send and receive fax
• Make copies/ packets/ folders, etc as requested
• Keep employee food bar stocked and clean
• Be a helpful asset to all other office staff

Position is full-time, Monday-Friday from 7am-3pm. Position is benefit eligible.

Please note: Applicant will be required to pass a drug screening before beginning employment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour
