Medical Receptionist

The Vein Specialist Centers is a fast-growing medical organization looking to hire an ambitious Medical Call Center Specialist to perform patient relationship duties at the front desk of our Princeton clinic. This person will be responsible for managing all aspects of the front desk, scheduling patient appointments, and maintaining a professional reception environment. Customer service and patient satisfaction are the key to the success of our organization.

Responsibilities:
The Medical Receptionist is responsible for greeting patients upon arrival, signing them in for their appointment, obtaining insurance information, providing forms, processing payments, and scheduling appointments.

• Answer phones (scheduling appointment, answering patients’ questions, triaging calls to appropriate office/person as needed
• Confirm appointments & retrieves VM messages from main phone lines(s)
• Transfer phones and phone calls to other office personnel as appropriate
• Make calls (patients, other offices, etc.), take and forward messages for doctors and staff as needed
• Audit schedule to ensure patient insurance eligibility.
• Provide patients with support and guidance as needed.

Must always represent the practice in a professional, pleasant, and cooperative manner Maintain regular attendance and adhere to assigned work schedule and office policies

• Adheres to all HIPAA privacy and OSHA safety standards
• Verbal, written, and presentation communication skills to handle frequent interaction with patients, and referral partners
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications: * High school diploma/GED required (Associate degree preferred).

• Experience in medical assisting or administration is a plus
• Excellent communication and problem solving skills, as well as interpersonal skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
