Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and organized Medical Receptionist to join our team. As a Medical Receptionist, you will play a crucial role in providing excellent customer service and administrative support in a medical office setting. Your primary responsibilities will include scheduling appointments, managing patient records, and ensuring smooth operations at the front desk.
Duties:
- Greet patients and visitors in a friendly and professional manner
- Schedule appointments and manage the appointment calendar
- Verify patient information and insurance details
- Collect co-pays and process payments
- Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries
- Maintain patient records and update information as necessary
- Assist with medical administrative tasks such as filing, faxing, and scanning documents
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations
- Collaborate with medical staff to provide exceptional patient care
Skills:
- Previous experience as a Medical Receptionist or similar role
- Proficiency in medical scheduling software (EMR)
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Familiarity with phone systems and office equipment
