- Medical Assistant certificate of completion from medical vocational program or equivalent degree in a related field.
- Proficiency in EMR/EHR
- Excellent computer and typing skills
- Referrals and Authorizations
- Insurance Verification
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
- Ability to interact professionally and politely with patients/doctors at all times.
- Strong organizational and follow up skills.
- Fluency in Spanish is preferable.
- Being able to carry out any other clinical/administrative responsibilities as delegated by physician and office Manager.
