Summary:
The Sr. Decision Support Analyst will be part of a central team to develop and maintain Baptist Health Supply Chain decision support systems, with overall responsibility to maintain internal databases in an accurate and timely manner. The Sr. Analyst will serve as primary liaison with contract administrators, IT, and organizational staff, providing pertinent reports, metrics, and support for all team levels.

1. Education:
A. BS/BA in Finance, Accounting, Engineering, or MIS related fields. Master’s degree preferred. 15+ years in MMIS field may be considered in lieu of education.
2. Knowledge, skills, abilities, and experience:
A. Ability to work independently. Must be flexible, adaptable, resourceful and responsive.
B. Develop working relationships with multiple corporate departments and facility locations
C. 3 - 5 years of experience in contract and/or data analysis
D. Strong computer skills in database management and data analysis. Ability to manage, access, and understand the decision support systems, including financial, clinical, and operational dimensions with the ability to turn large data sets into meaningful reports.
E. Strong analytical and interpersonal skills required
F. Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office – Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Access
G. Strong verbal and written communication skills
H. Ability to take initiative, use sound judgment, make independent decisions and work within tight deadlines.
I. Experience working in healthcare, specifically managed care and/ or supply chain, is preferred.
