Washington Eye Care is a small but quickly growing ophthalmology team that works together to provide high quality and highly successful medical and surgical treatments.

The office was opened in 2012 by physician and surgeon Dr. Benson Chen, who previously headed the Minor and James Ophthalmology department. He has been voted Top Doctor by other local physicians in Seattle Met Magazine 2016 and 2017.

*THE POSITION*

We are looking for an experienced, organized, and friendly patient coordinator to take the reins at our front desk. Duties include: appointment scheduling, checking patients in and out, answering phone calls, collecting payments, managing patient recalls and communications, ensuring smooth patient flow, and working proactively under minimal supervision. This is a great opportunity if you're interested in getting your foot in the door in healthcare; you will be cross-trained in clinical ophthalmic work (working up patients, scribing, diagnostic testing, assisting in procedures, etc.).

Ability to speak Mandarin and/or Cantonese is a plus, but not required.

Hours:

Monday,Tuesday, Thursday, Friday: 7:30 am to 4:00pm

Wednesday: 8:30 to 4:00pm

Off on weekends and evenings
