Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Medical Receptionist/Medical Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing administrative and clinical support in a medical office setting. Your primary duties will include greeting patients, scheduling appointments, managing medical records, and assisting with various administrative tasks. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, strong attention to detail, and a passion for delivering exceptional patient care.
Duties:
- Greet patients and visitors in a friendly and professional manner
- Schedule appointments and maintain the appointment calendar
- Collect patient information and update medical records
- Assist with medical administrative support tasks as needed
- Assist in preparing examination rooms for patient visits
- Assist in taking patient vital signs and record medical history
- Assist healthcare providers with examinations and procedures
- Assist in performing basic laboratory tests as directed by healthcare providers
- Clean and organize medical office lobby
- Assist in maintaining inventory of medical supplies and order as needed
Skills:
- Proficient knowledge of HIPAA regulations and compliance
- Familiarity with occupational health and medical office systems and procedures
- Experience managing medical records and maintaining confidentiality
- Preferred proficiency in using electronic health record software (e.g., Systoc)
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Knowledge of medical terminology and basic clinical procedures
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment
- Exceptional customer service skills
