Medical Receptionist

Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Medical Receptionist to join our team.

As a Medical Receptionist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our medical office.

Your primary responsibilities will include managing patient appointments, handling phone calls, and providing exceptional customer service.

The ideal candidate will have experience with customer service interactions, be positive and willing to learn.

Responsibilities:

- Greet patients and visitors in a friendly and professional manner
- Answer phone calls and direct them to the appropriate department or staff member
- Schedule patient appointments and maintain the appointment calendar
- Verify patient insurance information and collect co-payments
- Update patient records with accurate demographic and insurance information
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front desk area
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure efficient patient flow
- Provide excellent customer service to patients, addressing their inquiries and concerns

Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a Medical Receptionist or in a similar role is preferred
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of patient information
- Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in data entry

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $28.00 - $35.00 per hour
