We are an established podiatry clinic and are looking for a rockstar bookkeeper with experience working with a medical practice to join our team.
In addition to regular bookkeeping tasks, you will work closely with our medical biller to have a full picture of the financials, and provide insight and direction to the management team.
Responsibilities:
- Manage accounts receivable and accounts payable processes
- Perform technical accounting tasks, such as journal entries and general ledger maintenance
- Process payroll and ensure accurate and timely payments to employees
- Conduct account analysis to identify discrepancies and resolve issues
- Prepare financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
- Reconcile accounts and ensure accuracy of financial data
- Utilize 10-key typing skills for data entry purposes
- Perform bank reconciliations to ensure accurate recording of transactions
- Assist in budgeting process and monitor expenses
Skills:
- Strong knowledge of bookkeeping principles and practices
- Knowledge of inner workings of medical clinic
- Proficiency in Quickbooks
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
