Medical Bookkeeper

We are an established podiatry clinic and are looking for a rockstar bookkeeper with experience working with a medical practice to join our team.

In addition to regular bookkeeping tasks, you will work closely with our medical biller to have a full picture of the financials, and provide insight and direction to the management team.

Responsibilities:

• Manage accounts receivable and accounts payable processes
• Perform technical accounting tasks, such as journal entries and general ledger maintenance
• Process payroll and ensure accurate and timely payments to employees
• Conduct account analysis to identify discrepancies and resolve issues
• Prepare financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
• Reconcile accounts and ensure accuracy of financial data
• Utilize 10-key typing skills for data entry purposes
• Perform bank reconciliations to ensure accurate recording of transactions
• Assist in budgeting process and monitor expenses

Skills:

• Strong knowledge of bookkeeping principles and practices
• Knowledge of inner workings of medical clinic
• Proficiency in Quickbooks
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines

Pay: $30.00 - $45.00 per hour
