Come join our exciting practice! We are a medical office looking for an experienced Medical Biller full time.
The biller is responsible for claims submission, collecting, and billing. Strong organizational skills/habits are a necessity. Experience in Practice Fusion EMR / Nextech is a plus but not a requirement. Certification as a coder is also a plus but not required.
Requirements:
Electronic Billing Experience
Experience with one or more EMR applications
Ability to analyze face sheet/demographics information to determine eligibility.
Ability to call and/or use web portals to determine eligibility.
Knowledge of ICD-10 and CMS CPT coding or similar, a plus if you are a certified coder.
Knowledge of Commercial, Medicare / Medicaid and Medicare Advantage insurances.
Analyze, work, and resubmit denied claims. Work your own EOBs.
Comply with HIPAA guidelines to protect patient data privacy.
Word, Excel, and Outlook experience.
