Pay range:

Overlake Medical Center & Clinics is currently seeking a part time CertifiedMedical Assistant or Licensed Practical Nurse to join ourEmployee Health team.

Primary responsibilities would include supporting the departmentin assuring an organized and effective program for Employee Health is maintained and monitored. Performs employee consultations regarding health issues; actively initiates and coordinates programs and provides corrective measures to promote wellness and protect the health of Overlake’s employees; complies with various agency requirements pertaining to occupational health and safety. Office hours 7:30 am - 4:30 pm

Qualifications

Medical Assistant:

• High School Diploma or GED required. Graduate of a certified medical assistant program required.
• Current WA State Medical Assistant Certified (MA-C) or Interim Medical Assistant Certified required. Employment is contingent upon obtaining the MA-C within the first (6) months of employment.
• Current healthcare provider CPR certification required.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills required.
• Experience with EMR applications, EPIC preferred.

Licensed Practical Nurse:

• Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) degree from an accredited school required.
• Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) through WA State DOH required.
• Current healthcare provider CPR certification required.
• Experience in medical/surgical nursing preferred. Experience in Employee/Occupational Health a plus.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills required.
• Experience with EMR applications, EPIC preferred.
