Medical Assistant Apprentice, OMP Admin, Port Angeles, 1.0 FTE, Day Shift

JOB SUMMARY:
MA Apprentice, under the direction and supervision of the MA Coordinator and clinical coaches, performs clinical duties in the OMP outpatient clinics consistent with his/her education, training, experience and credentials. The MA Apprentice will, within 90 days of hire, sign agreement with OMC for apprenticeship enrollment, meet the requirements for the WACMHC apprenticeship program and enroll.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Education
High school diploma/GED.
Experience
None. Healthcare related job experience is preferred.
Licensure/Credentials
Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days of hire; attestation for Medical Assistant- Registered filed with the Department of Health and signed by a health care practitioner authorizing performance of tasks in conjunction with the apprenticeship application.
