Washington Foot & Ankle Sports Medicine is offering employment for a permanent, FULL-TIME Medical Assistant for our busy Podiatric Sports Medicine Clinic in Kirkland, WA. This position requires Monday through Friday availability. We offer great learning opportunities for all levels of experience.

What You Need (aka our Requirements):

**A MEDICAL ASSISTING CERTIFICATE IS NOT REQUIRED to qualify for this position. On the job training and paid credentialing is offered to all new hires!

• Excellent people skills are required; turn your customer service skills into a new career
• Must be fluent in English
• Data entry experienced and able to type 50 WPM

The Role:

• Greeting and rooming patients
• Documenting patient medical records via EMR
• Answering patient inquiries in person and via phone
• Managing inventory & ordering supplies
• Fit and train patients on durable medical equipment and use
• Performing x-rays as needed (you will get trained and certified within our office)
• Preparing treatment rooms for patient/physician
• Anticipating needs of physician
• Counseling patients on coverage benefits as it pertains to services recommended
• Coordinating phone consultations as needed
• Following up on test results/inquiries as directed by physician.

Pay: From $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 42 per week
