Sound Family Health has been operating since 2009. We are an enthusiastic family practice clinic looking to add to the family with the addition of a full time position for a Certified/Registered Medical Assistant! You must be upbeat, have effective time management skills, the ability to multitask, and be an exceptional team player. The optimal applicant is a fast learner, comprehends a realm of computer programs, has fabulous phone etiquette and is highly dependable.
Clinical duties for this Certified Medical Assistant include: Patient intake and recording vital signs, administering immunizations/medications, and assisting physicians with minor procedures. Properly performing EKG’s, spirometry, nebulizers, and sterilization of medical instruments.
Administrative duties include: Triage via telephone, updating patient’s medical record, processing medication refill requests, insurance referrals & prior authorizations.
Education & Experience: Must have a current Medical Assistant License from the State of Washington and be certified or registered. Prefer at least 1+ years experience, but not required. Athena EMR experience a bonus.
This Certified Medical Assistant position is full time. Our Clinic is open 7:30-5 M-F, closed on weekends. This position we are seeking is for 40 hours. Compensation is DOE. Health/Dental/Vision benefits available. 401K offered.
