We have a full-time MEDICAL ASSISTANT - OPHTHALMOLOGY opportunity available for an experienced Medical Assistant, certified MA, certified nursing assistant, optometric technician, optician, or ophthalmic technician. This is a TEAM role that will need your patience, high levels of communication and integrity
Our MEDICAL ASSISTANTS - OPHTHALMOLOGY work to assist our doctors and our patients through prescreen testing, exam preparation and patience, positivity, and productivity.

A successful candidate for OPHTHALMIC ASSISTANT has the following:
- A high school diploma, (some college is excellent!)
- A committed work history that shows longevity and growth
- Experience in a fast-paced healthcare or medical office environment
- Proven Ability to establish effective working relationships with patients, technicians, physicians, and outside departmental staff
- Familiarly with computer software and the ability to learn new systems quickly (Electronic health record experience preferred)
- Able to remain focused and organized
- Able to stand with mobility for extended periods of time
- Considerable knowledge in Ophthalmology theory and practice preferred
- COA and/or COT certified - a HUGE plus
- The ability to work at different work locations during the day on occasion- clean DMV and/or transportation required.
