SalaryWe are seeking a experienced Medical Assistant to join our team. As a Medical Assistant, you will be responsible for assisting physician and other healthcare professionals in providing patient care.
Duties:
- Medication/Procedure Prior authorizations
- Medical Records
- Assist with patient care, including taking vital signs, recording medical histories, and preparing patients for examination
- Administer medications as directed by the physician
- Schedule appointments and maintain patient records
- Prepare exam rooms for patient visits
- Answer phones and respond to patient inquiries
Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Minimum of 1-2 year of experience in a medical office setting preferred
- Knowledge of medical terminology, electronic medical records systems; EMR experience a plus
