Competencies and Position Requirements
Supports development of marketing materials:
- Creates graphic design of marketing collateral, branded swag, print and digital ads, etc.
- Maintains marketing design templates
- Assists, as needed, in preparing collateral materials for client meetings and new business opportunities
- Supports marketing manager with digital and online marketing campaigns – monitoring ongoing campaigns, developing materials for net new campaigns
Ensures external firm information is current:
- Identifies and implements updates on BNN’s website
- Identifies and schedules content for BNN Blog, Events, and Resources on the website, posting when needed
- Assists marketing team with keeping BNN’s photography and videography up to date on a regular basis
- Serves as point person for maintenance of marketing databases and contact/subscriber lists
- Monitors sponsorship advertising requests to ensure deadlines are met
Supports event planning:
- Leads day-to-day event planning tasks - coordinate with marketing team and professional staff to execute events on schedule
Supports content programs:
- Oversees organic social media content program for the firm, including designing and executing posting schedule, reviewing and approving draft posts, monitoring engagement, and reporting on KPIs
- Leads creation and distribution of external newsletters and alerts
- Collaborates with marketing team to share internal news and updates via Intranet, Viva Engage, and email (including: reviewing drafts, drafting content, identify and schedule content, posting/sending updates)
Assists in team coordination and effectiveness:
- Works collaboratively with marketing team to achieve the firm’s marketing and business development objectives and goals, as well as other firm-wide initiatives
- Supports various administrative duties, as needed
- Participates in regular professional development related to role and responsibilities at BNN
- Provides other support as needed on marketing projects
Exceptional administrative and organizational skills, and effective written and oral communication; writing and editing skills a plus
Will learn BNN inside and out, and can speak fluently about our core competencies and capabilities as a company
Strong relationship building skills with a focus on client service
Ability to anticipate and provide prompt resolution on requests
Ability to manage deadlines, work independently when necessary and in collaboration with others
Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, business administration, communication, or a related field
- At least 1 year of experience in a marketing, communications, or related role
- Requires proficiency in MS Office applications, most notably Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook
- Experience with WordPress, Hubspot and/or other marketing automation, social media, Canva, and/or other marketing tools and platforms a plus
- Experience with InDesign and Photoshop a plus
- Proficient in time management and prioritization of tasks
