ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: *

  • Research various types of grants available and the criteria to qualify for each.
  • Compile necessary information for the application process through collaboration with other employees, database research, and other fact-finding actions and meetings.
  • Assist with the grant application process for various grants that meet the organization’s needs while making sure that applications focus on the conditions, restrictions, and goals of the sponsoring organization.
  • Ensure accurate, timely, efficient, and transparent grant processes.
  • Ensure grants are submitted on time.
  • Maintain positive relationships with grant project officers and grant funders.
  • Ensure grant funds and requirements are reflected in the budget.
  • Provide guidance and training for other staff and act as a grant resource.
  • Assist with developing grant program goals and objectives.
  • Build and maintain a positive public image of GPH.
  • Support the marketing team through the organization and administrative support for various projects.
  • Provide marketing, communication, creative, and administrative assistance to the CEO and other clinic leaders.
  • Support the Marketing and communications plan.
  • Assist in identifying community events to increase community awareness of GPH services. Attending community events as needed.
  • Assist with marketing research to identify target audience demographics.
  • Review the progress and success of marketing initiatives, adjusting or pitching ideas for new initiatives as necessary.
  • Develop and expand the organization’s web presence through social media using branding guidelines.
  • Support staff in creating and updating the website and social media accounts.
  • Assist with the ongoing reporting, monitoring, and evaluation of our Marketing and communication activities.
  • Conduct training on marketing activities, strategies, and policies.
  • Research and attend associated community events as needed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND KNOWLEDGE QUALIFICATIONS:

Associate degree required; bachelor’s degree preferred.

  • Marketing management and/or grant writing experience preferred.
  • Experience in a health care environment preferred.
  • Experience with content creation a plus, even if not professionally.
  • Bilingual /multilingual in French, Spanish, Arabic, Swahili, or other major languages a strong plus.
