The regular 1st Shift schedule for this role is Monday through Friday, 6:00AM-2:00PM.
Summary
The Manufacturing Support Operator is responsible for operating all support equipment related to manufacturing processes, as well as performing quality control audits and basic maintenance.
Major Duties and Responsibilities
Train and work on various processes assigned, including de-canning, flattening, sawing and ultrasonic cleaning.
Operate all support equipment related to the area of responsibility such as CMM, helium leak detector, WAS, buffing operations, grit blasting and arc spraying.
Perform quality control audits of work performed during shift using basic measuring tools.
Operating of fork lifts and other material handling equipment.
Perform basic maintenance and routine preventative maintenance on equipment.
Documentation thru computer and all paperwork.
Learn: 5S.
Others related duties.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent
Skills and Qualifications
Must follow procedures, standard work, and job instructions.
Able to read and implement procedures, policies, and work practices.
Good mechanical aptitude with the ability to perform basic problem solving.
Good work ethic and willing to work effectively and safely as a part of a team.
Able and willing to learn all equipment related to manufacturing.
Ability and willingness to wear all required Personal Protective Equipment.
Physical Requirements
Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. on a regular basis.
Ability to stand for long periods.
Frequent bending and twisting required.
