Manufacturing Support Operator - 1St Shift

The regular 1st Shift schedule for this role is Monday through Friday, 6:00AM-2:00PM.

Summary

The Manufacturing Support Operator is responsible for operating all support equipment related to manufacturing processes, as well as performing quality control audits and basic maintenance.

Major Duties and Responsibilities

• Train and work on various processes assigned, including de-canning, flattening, sawing and ultrasonic cleaning.

• Operate all support equipment related to the area of responsibility such as CMM, helium leak detector, WAS, buffing operations, grit blasting and arc spraying.

• Perform quality control audits of work performed during shift using basic measuring tools.

• Operating of fork lifts and other material handling equipment.

• Perform basic maintenance and routine preventative maintenance on equipment.

• Documentation thru computer and all paperwork.

• Learn: 5S.

• Others related duties.

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent

Skills and Qualifications

• Must follow procedures, standard work, and job instructions.

• Able to read and implement procedures, policies, and work practices.

• Good mechanical aptitude with the ability to perform basic problem solving.

• Good work ethic and willing to work effectively and safely as a part of a team.

• Able and willing to learn all equipment related to manufacturing.

• Ability and willingness to wear all required Personal Protective Equipment.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. on a regular basis.

• Ability to stand for long periods.

• Frequent bending and twisting required.
