Summary/Objective:
The Manufacturing Manager independently plans, organizes and directs manufacturing initiatives to meet company objectives for production goals, quality standards and improvement of existing product lines by performing the following duties personally or through subordinates.
Functions:
- Manufacturing
- Select, develop, train, implement and supervise.
- Manufacturing Support Staff
- Lean practices for all departments
- Certified operators
- Lean implementation in new manufacturing cells
- Production Efficiency/Effectiveness Metrics for:
- Overall plant, department and operator productivity
- Equipment effectiveness
- Scrap and rework reduction
- Process Improvement
- Select, develop, train, implement and supervise.
- Cross Functional Efforts
- Continuous Improvement Initiatives
- Preliminary Review and Disposition of Non-Conforming Product
- NADCAP Process Certification
- Certified Production Operator Program in all Production Work Centers
- Implementation of standard work
- Implementation of 5S
- Perform gemba walks

Required Education and/or Experience
- Bachelor Degree
