Manufacturing Administrative Assistant
This is a Contract-to-Hire job opportunity local to Monroe NC for a well-established machine shop.
This role will work closely with all departments outside of Sales. He/She will assist the supervisors/managers with administrative tasks, as assigned, with an emphasis on inventory, purchasing, shipping/receiving, production, and accounting.
The successful candidate will possess the following skills and experience:
- Adept in report generation, comparison, and interpretation (mainly of inventory and shipping/receiving reports) AND identifying discrepancies within those reports
- High-level of proficiency using Microsoft 365 (with emphasis on Word, Excel, and Outlook)
- Mid to High-level of proficiency using Adobe Suite (creation and manipulation of pdf files – including, but not limited to combining separate files into one file)
- Demonstrated experience with electronic file management (Experience working with server file management is a plus.)
- Demonstrated experience with any MRP software and knowledge of basic MRP practices
- Demonstrated experience working in an office environment performing the following tasks: Sorting, filing, copying, and retrieving documents, assisting multiple departments with their clerical needs, and other clerical duties, as assigned
- Demonstrated ability to work in fast-paced environments
