Position Summary:
Queen Transportation, LLC Dispatch Administrative Assistant’s primary role is ensure safe, accurate, timely and efficient delivery of all orders while facilitating and supporting drivers and dispatchers as they perform their duties. Job duties include assisting in the management of the day to day operations of drivers, by maintaining communication with brokers, dispatchers and drivers to ensure that the transportation process is seamless and that each delivery schedule is met.
Dispatch Administrative Assistant will serve as a central contact point for both truck drivers and customers. In this fast-paced job, the Dispatch Administrative Assistants is responsible for multiple trucks, customers, drivers and routes, which requires extreme attention to detail. They also monitor trucks and drivers once they are in route, and escalate to management if an issue arises.
They must also have excellent communication skills, which helps maintain strong relationships with the customer, broker and the drivers.

Principle Duties and Responsibilities:
· Promptly answer phones
· Follow up with Brokers
· Rate confirmation management and follow-up
· Maintain spreadsheet for proof of delivery tracking requirements, special requirements, and truck order not used
· Track Drivers for location or appointment issues
· Track trailers
· Data entry
· Develop and maintain spreadsheet for tracking detention
· Assist dispatchers as needed
· Enhances organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests, exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
· Follows up on questions or concerns promptly and effectively.
· Presents a professional image at all times.
· Cross trains to assist as dispatcher back-up when needed.
· Creates open communication channels with their team.
· Performs other duties as assigned by Executive Management Team.

Education and Experience Required:
· AA degree in Transportation or equivalent experience in related field is required.
Physical Requirements:
· Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk working on a computer
