Key Responsibilities:
- Team Leadership & Development:
- Directly manage the Unified Communications, Cloud Services, and Datacenter Infrastructure teams.
- Guide, coach, and mentor team members to achieve their full potential, aligning their contributions with broader IT goals.
- Conduct performance assessments, provide constructive feedback, and identify opportunities to enhance skill sets.
- Create a collaborative and results-oriented environment that values innovation and adaptability.
- Unified Communications (Networking & Telephony):
- Design and oversee the network infrastructure (LAN, WAN, SD-WAN), ensuring security, high availability, and scalability.
- Manage all aspects of enterprise telephony systems, including VoIP, contact center solutions, and any legacy communications platforms.
- Proactively monitor performance, optimize configurations, and troubleshoot network and telephony issues.
- Cloud Services (Microsoft Azure Focus):
- Lead the development and execution of a comprehensive cloud strategy, with a primary focus on Microsoft Azure.
- Oversee the migration of workloads to Azure, the architecture of cloud-native applications, and ongoing optimization of cloud solutions.
- Champion governance, security, and cost management practices for our Azure environment.
- Datacenter Infrastructure:
- Manage all aspects of on-premises datacenter infrastructure, including networking, compute, storage, virtualization, and backup systems.
- Continuously evaluate datacenter capacity, performance, and operational efficiency.
- Design and implement upgrades, disaster recovery plans, and modernization initiatives in line with the business needs.
- Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 7+ years experience in infrastructure management, including 3+ years of leadership experience in enterprise environments.
- Extensive hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure solutions (Iaas, PaaS) and cloud architecture.
- Technical Expertise:
- Deep understanding of networking concepts, protocols (TCP/IP, BGP, MPLS, QoS, etc.), and network security.
- Demonstrable proficiency in enterprise telephony, including knowledge of VoIP, SIP, and cloud-based communications platforms.
- Strong experience with datacenter technologies, including server hardware, virtualization (VMware, Hyper-V etc.), and storage systems (SAN, NAS).
- Working knowledge of IT security best practices.

- Microsoft Azure certifications
- Networking certifications (e.g., CCNA, CCNP)
- Experience with infrastructure automation and scripting (PowerShell, Terraform, Ansible, etc.)
