As a Reliability Engineer/Analyst, you will play a critical role in performing Reliability-Centered Maintenance (RCM) and related task to minimizing failures, optimizing performance, and enhancing the reliability of critical assets. Work tasks will be extremely varied and require flexibility and versatility in the engineering-analytics field.
In this role, you will:
- Perform criticality analysis (CA), failure mode and effects analysis (FMEA), risk assessments, fault tree analysis (FTA), root cause analysis (RCA), and recommend cost-effective changes to existing maintenance strategies to improve reliability.
- Perform site visits, collect data, review drawings and piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs), determine probability and consequence of failure, and summarizes all analysis in a technical report.
- Review the existing asset maintenance program to recommend best practices in reliability maintenance and enhance facility/equipment dependability, using available historical data.
- Be familiar with and recommend appropriate condition-based maintenance (CBM), predictive maintenance (PdM), and Predictive Testing and Inspection (PT&I) technologies, such as Vibration Monitoring and Analysis, Infrared Thermography, Ultrasonic Inspection, Lubricant and Wear Particle Analysis, Electrical Condition Monitoring, and Non-Destructive Testing.
You will be a great fit if you have:
- A bachelor’s degree from an ABET accredited college in a technical discipline (e.g., engineering field) or equivalent discipline (e.g., math, physics, chemistry, or related).
- One (1) or more years of relevant reliability work experience in a technical role, additional experience (5+ years) may be substituted for an engineering degree.
- Familiarity with buildings and site infrastructure across the mechanical/electrical/plumbing and fire protection systems.
- Valid/Unrestricted FL driver’s license
- Proficient with Microsoft: Windows, Project, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
Preferred Additional Qualifications
- Certified Maintenance & Reliability Professional (CMRP), Certified Reliability Engineer (CRE), or equivalent reliability certification.
- Knowledge of facility equipment maintenance and operations.

- Merritt Island, FL (Hybrid)
Work Authorization/Security Clearance
- Government background checks and facility clearance are required.
- US Citizenship or Work Authorization is required.
Travel
- Up to 10% travel may be required. Typically, four (4) weeklong trips to various locations per year for customer site investigations.
- Four (4) annual day trips to office (Merritt Island, FL) for face-to-face meetings.
