```Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to join our team as a Post Office Clerk. In this role, you will be responsible for handling outgoing mail, providing customers with best way to send their mail. The ideal candidate has strong clerical skills, excellent customer service abilities, and is able to carry 30 lb. packages.
Duties:
- Open and operate a station that provides stamps and metered mail for patrons that visit the store.
- Must inventory and maintain accuracy.
- Must maintain portion of Center as assigned.
- Must carry metered postage from desk to bins.
- Prepare outgoing mail for pickup or shipment.
- Maintain accurate records of all outgoing mail.
Experience:
- Knowldege of Post Office practices preferred
- Previous experience in a clerical or administrative role preferred
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Excellent customer service skills and professional demeanor
- Proficiency in handling cash and credit cards
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling mail and documents
